💍 A Destination Wedding Full of Emotion

Planning a wedding across the world is never simple—but when Matina and Mike arrived in Lemnos from Massachusetts, they were ready for a dream. Despite the ups and downs during the preparation, what unfolded on 12th July 2025 was nothing short of magical.

⛪ The Ceremony: St. George Church, Platy

Set in the peaceful village of Platy, the ceremony took place at the beautiful St. George Church—a classic stone chapel overlooking the Aegean Sea. Guests were welcomed with soft hymns and golden light as Matina walked gracefully down the aisle. The couple exchanged vows surrounded by family, friends, and a setting that felt almost sacred.

✨ The Reception: Varos Boutique Hotel

After the ceremony, the celebration moved to Varos Boutique Hotel, one of Lemnos’ most charming wedding venues. The reception blended local elegance with warm island hospitality. Long tables, twinkling lights, and a gentle summer breeze set the tone for a night of joy and connection.

Traditional Greek dishes were served alongside fresh wines and desserts. Guests danced freely under the stars, as laughter and music filled the Lemnian air.
